1. Who we are
ClassMon (“we”, “us”) provides a classroom companion for primary teachers. Privacy questions: [email protected].
2. What this covers
This policy covers the ClassMon teacher portal, Student Display, and related services at classmon.app.
ClassMon is built for teachers running a class. We do not create parent accounts or collect parent contact details.
3. Children’s classroom data
Student information is entered only by a teacher, for use in that teacher’s classroom.
What we store
- The classroom name the teacher enters (usually a first name; an initial or last name only if the teacher needs it to tell students apart)
- Companion progress (points, XP, level, egg and companion choices, graduations)
- Behaviors the teacher sets up, private coaching notes, and classroom reward purchases when used
What we don’t ask for
- Photos, dates of birth, student ID numbers, or government IDs
- Parent names, phone numbers, WhatsApp IDs, or emails
- Location tracking or advertising identifiers
Why we process it
So the teacher can run a positive-behavior companion system for their class. Teachers and schools decide who is on the roster and how they notify families under school policy.
We do not use student names or classroom content to train public AI models. Student data is never sold.
Who sees what
- Student Display shows classroom names and companion celebrations to the room — the public Stage.
- Private coaching notes stay on the teacher side and are not shown on the Student Display.
4. Teacher accounts
We process your email and sign-in credentials so you can access ClassMon, reset your password, and receive service messages.
5. Where data lives
Class and student data is stored in Singapore (AWS / Supabase region ap-southeast-1), encrypted at rest and in transit.
6. Who helps us run ClassMon
- Supabase / AWS (Singapore) — database and teacher authentication
- Email delivery — password reset and account messages through our auth provider
We do not sell personal data. We do not run ads against your class. We do not use marketing trackers that follow teachers or students across the web.
7. Export, keep, and delete
- Export — Download your class data anytime from Classroom Desk in the teacher portal.
- Delete a class — Remove a class in the product; its roster and related records leave our active database.
- Delete an account — Email [email protected]; we aim to complete requests within 30 days.
- Retention — We keep class data while your account is active and the class has not been deleted, unless you and we agree a shorter window in writing.
8. Security
Teachers sign in to access class data. Connections use HTTPS. The Student Display pairs with a class sync code — keep that code in the room the way you would a classroom PIN.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can export your class data as above. For school IT reviews, this page is the public statement of how ClassMon handles classroom data, including Singapore residency.
If you are in Hong Kong, we handle personal-data requests in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO Cap. 486). You may also contact the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).
10. Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date above.
